Our Team
Ana Vargas
Production Assistant, Transportation Liaison for Weddings and Corporate Events, Lady in Waiting
Ana Vargas can be found doing an assortment of jobs for the Sterling Engagements team, as she is one of our regular Jill of Trades! Her can-do attitude and ability to learn quickly landed her a regular job on our production team as well as a handful of other tasks. Ana is our regular liaison for shuttles and transportation; she consistently coordinates logistics between our drivers, guests and bridal parties. She can also be found as our Lady in Waiting and as well as often assisting our Grooms with their men on the big day. Ana started with us while in school as an intern originally and has gone above and beyond ever since her very first day on the job. We love having her onsite for our weddings or events as she makes any day better by just being present. Her love for family and tradition can be seen at any of our events by looking in her eyes as she sets up all of the extra special details.
Born in El Salvador and raised in sunny Southern California, Ana is a dreamer and a true romantic. She has always loved weddings and special events because she loves seeing families come together, and more importantly- people's dreams coming true. Ana has been planning all her big family celebrations and parties since she was 14. She even hand makes all of her invitations! Ana recently graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in hotel and restaurant management with an emphasis on special events. When she's not traveling or tending to her family, you'll find Ana baking and trying out new recipes or elbow deep in her latest art project.

Jocelyn Garrity
Production Assistant, Sterling's Bridal Stylist Extraordinaire/Fashion Guru, Blogger for our series Bold, Chic & In Love
Jocelyn Garrity is another one of our regular Jill of Trade's for Sterling Engagements. First and foremost she is an incredible stylist and therefore was immediately deemed our in-house Bridal Stylist/Fashion Guru. Jocelyn has assisted many of our brides in getting ready on the big day and additionally offers a la cart styling services both prior to and on wedding day. Most recently she's used her stylish knowhow to assist Bridesmaids with getting ready by tying their Two Birds Bridesmaids Collection dresses in an abundance of ways. So we have now added Two Birds stylist extraordinaire to her long list of qualifications. Because of her keen sense of style she also writes regularly on our blog for our Fashion Series "Bold, Chic & In Love". When she's not styling for us, you can find Jocelyn regularly on our production team for both weddings and events. Jocelyn started with us from the beginning and graduated our intern program jumping in full force with our team. Jocelyn is our ray of sunshine and always has a smile on her face which is contagious. An old soul, she consistently touches all those around her with her wisdom and calming spirit.
Jocelyn grew up in Los Angeles and is an absolute city girl. She loves fashion, events, and all things glamour. She was first drawn to production when she was asked to produce a lookbook for a non-profit fashion show, Hope in the City. After producing the shoot four years in a row, she decided to look into more opportunities to produce. Weddings were the first thing that came to mind and she has been lucky enough to work with some fabulous wedding coordinators along the way, Sterling Engagements being the first and most prominent. She is also a personal wardrobe stylist, which gives her a phenomenal eye for design. Jocelyn is great with people and loves the energy and even stress that comes with working weddings. She enjoys the challenge of making everything as smooth, calm, and beautiful as possible.

Michaela Bray
Production Assistant, Our Original Sterling Lady in Waiting
Michaela Bray was one of our very first interns and the Original Lady In Waiting for Sterling Engagements. She has an innate ability to jump in head first to things and is a logistics queen. She's a strong multi-tasker too, which is necessary when you're in charge of the bride and her maids on the big day while at the same time juggling photographers, videographers and the groom with his men. Michaela is soft spoken, always organized and has the ability to stay calm under pressure, we love her for this! For our corporate events, she's also an asset and often times in charge of staff and vendor check-in for large groups. Michaela is such a pleasure to be around and truly one of the most polite people you will ever meet, which is why we know we're lucky to have her be such a core part of our team.
Born in Arkansas and raised in California, Michaela first became interested in events during high school after helping with minor events at her high school and youth sports organization that she coached at. She went to Cal Poly Pomona where she studied Hospitality Management and learned a lot about how to make guests happy and the business side of events. Today, she still coaches and actually plans events for the youth sports organization.

Tori Sepian
Assistant to Alexandra, Production Assistant, Staff Liaison for Weddings
Tori Sepian is an extension of Alexandra's right hand and a regular production assistant for Sterling Engagements. She's also in charge of all staffing, scheduling and logistics for our events. During the week, you'll find her in the Sterling office keeping things calm, cool and under control. Tori has a very important task in the office and that's to assist Alexandra in the everyday juggling of our weddings, events and so much more. She does so with grace and we're so lucky to have her incredible help with making the office function well and stay organized. Tori has a sick sense to jump into any situation and make it better almost instantly, she's a quick learner and always going out of her way to put smiles on our faces. Tori loves this industry and it's ever so apparent with each and every event we do. We love having her in the office but of course onsite at events is where she really shines.
Tori was born and raised in sunny California. She grew up surrounded by a huge family so celebrations and parties seemed to happen quite often. Tori loves to cook which is why she is the chef in her family besides, of course, her uncle who actually went to culinary school. It was in her blood to be a chef. But when she got a call from Alex on one Thursday night, everything changed. Alex was in need of an extra assistant to help her organize one of the largest events in Sterling Engagements had ever produced. Throughout the week Tori fell in love with the fast pace and exciting atmosphere she was experiencing. Culinary school may be a thing of the past, replaced by her new love….Weddings and events!
