Post I Do Bridal Show Wrap Up + A Giveaway!

Last weekend (and on Super Bowl Sunday), we had the opportunity to showcase at the “I Do” Bridal Event at the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena.

For our set-up, we wanted to highlight a bit more of a fun side as opposed to the typical place setting you so often see at Bridal Shows.  In an effort to be different, we designed a space incorporating a photo booth to create an interactive experience for guests and a posh Fantasy Frostings dessert bar to sweeten the mood. Incorporating a color palette of white, creams, gold, & blush along with beautiful greenery, we knew it would be the perfect combination inside the Langham’s gorgeous ballroom. Our romantic, yet chic backdrop, consisted of suspended spray roses, whimsical greenery, and airy white draping. We then set the stage by accenting it with lounge appeal’s couture collection loveseat and tables.  So all our brides-to-be bride & and their loved ones had a place to prop a seat to strike a pose. To add that extra ounce of fun, we had Inna of Butterfly Floral Design create beautiful handmade floral crowns for the ladies to wear.

In addition to our kitschy experience, we really wanted to offer an extra special GIVEAWAY to our visitors.  We decided since we love to engage so very much we would create an activity where the winning participant would receive a curated bridal gift box with a some of our favorite pamper-yourself components. Each guest was directed to write down a wedding related question that they sought advice on. In turn, we would review all questions and be answering them as we did so on our blog.  Next month, we will choose our pick for the most challenging aka ‘the best question’. The winner will be announced on March 7, so stay tuned!  In the meantime, we will be answering all of our submitted ‘Wedding Questions’ each week.  So… for all you #idobridalevent brides, keep a look out, as we just may post your question and you just very well be the LUCKY winner!

Welcome to A French Winter Wonderlodge // A Sneak Peek inside Ashley Tisdale and Christopher French’s Holiday Party!

We are so thrilled to be able to share with you today a sneak peek of a stunning holiday fete we produced last weekend for our clients Ashley Tisdale and Christopher French!  Ashley and Chris wanted a very festive winter wonderland that transformed their rustic yet chic home.

Alexandra worked together with Ashley and Chris to conceptualize a design that was warm and inviting yet elegant and a bit glam at the same time.  Guests got cozy sipping coffee and champagne beneath faux fur blankets while enjoying a playlist of classic holiday songs as curated by Chris.  Trays of appetizers and a dessert station kept bellies full and faces smiling late into the evening.  Faithful friends who gathered near to the photo booth left the party with a lasting memory of the good times they shared.

Plus, we are so excited that the event is now featured on Ashley’s website The Haute Mess!  Have you seen how amazing this website is?  We’re all currently crushing on the latest Haute Mess Notebooks which will surely be #1 on all of our wish lists!  She’s also been posting a few dazzling photos on her Instagram that are definitely worthy of a “double-tap”!

We are so grateful for our entire dream team who came together to bring this magical design to life.  Thank you to each and every one of you who contributed to making this Winter Wonderlodge nothing short of a dreamy holiday fairytale!
