Alexandra Rembac is the Principal and Creative Director of Sterling Engagements. With an eye for detail, impeccable taste and perpetual inspiration for design, Alexandra consistently raises the bar with every event she produces. Since founding Sterling Engagements, she has established a stellar reputation to exceed expectations through her extraordinary designs, unparalleled level of personalized service and ability to wow guests one event after the next.

As your planner, Alexandra is full of enthusiasm and a warm personality. Her dedicated attention to detail, passion for perfection and expertise knowledge, create a wonderful experience for each client. She has a unique ability to consistently remain calm and collected, this typically tends to be a trait her clients love, it’s contagious and always helpful throughout the planning process. Her meticulous planning and resourcefulness always reflect on her events, but her knack is definitely her design sense.

A California native, she grew up in Los Angeles and even as a child had an unyielding work ethic. From the time she was able to legally work, Alexandra worked zealously throughout the hospitality industry. With 11+ years experience within the industry, Alexandra has had quite the versatility in her career. Whether it was working high-end private parties or special events at the Playboy Mansion, she worked consistently within this field, including planning her own Bat Mitzvah as a teenager. Ironically it wasn’t until 2003, when she began to realize this ultimately would transition into her career.

While in college, Alexandra began an internship at a prominent event production firm in Los Angeles. Working on high-profile social and corporate events, she gained valuable experience, developing a passion for design and production. The bulk of her experience developed while working on various projects including premieres, the TV-Guide Emmy After Party, Best-Buy Launch of “Geek Squad”, celebrity weddings and fashion shows. Simultaneously, she maintained the position of Director of Philanthropy for her sorority and worked for a leading wedding planner in Los Angeles. Specializing in ethnic weddings, Alexandra was fortunate enough to gain expertise in a variety of multi-cultured weddings as well.

Graduating California State University Northridge with a degree in Journalism and an emphasis in Public Relations, she founded Sterling Engagements in 2005, prior to her senior year. Following graduation, Alexandra began a position at a prestigious law firm in Santa Monica. Working as the Catering Coordinator and in-house Event Coordinator, she continued to broaden her knowledge, working on a variety of business development, staff appreciation and social events. After several years, a plethora of events and a gratifying journey throughout her time at the firm, she left to pursue her true passion full-time with Sterling Engagements.

Since then, Alexandra has managed to advance Sterling Engagements to become one of the premiere event design and production companies in Southern California and beyond. Sterling Engagements has received numerous awards and been featured in outlets such as the Los Angeles Times, NBC News, various bridal magazines, online publications and Westlake Magazine, where she previously wrote a monthly "Ask Alexandra" column.

Most recently, Alexandra was featured on the hit wedding reality show, “Platinum Weddings” for the WE network. Be sure to check out the episode “Kristel and Jason” and see her beautiful designs and flawless planning in action.

Alexandra currently resides in Agoura Hills with her husband and their two dogs Jackson and Kalle. When she has free time, she loves to cook, play board games and entertain.
